Connection Methods
For PS4 Wireless Connection (Wired Activation Required for First Use)
Step 1 (Activation): With the controller powered off (in sleep mode), connect the controller to the powered-on PS4 console using the included Micro USB cable.
Step 2: After connecting, press the PS button on the controller. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the controller has been recognized by the console and the initial activation/pairing is complete.
Step 3: You can now unplug the cable. The controller will automatically switch to Bluetooth wireless mode. Afterward, simply press the PS button to automatically reconnect each time you use it.
⚠️ Note: This wired activation step is required for new controllers or after a factory reset for Bluetooth to work.
